Using your account and the lab

Sign in to your Shopify customer account before using Printlab. Before entry, you must accept these service terms and the store terms, confirm your artwork permissions, and acknowledge the privacy notice below. This acknowledgment is not marketing consent. Keep your account secure. You must be able to enter a binding contract; a parent or guardian must place orders for children. Do not upload sensitive personal information or artwork depicting someone without the permissions needed for its use.

Your artwork and permissions

You retain your rights in the material you upload. You confirm that you own it or have permission to use, reproduce and customise it, including any photographs, names, logos, trademarks and other people's work. You give us a limited permission to process, store and reproduce the material as necessary to provide the tools and fulfil your order. Uploading artwork does not give us permission to use it in advertising. Do not use the service for unlawful, infringing, threatening or abusive material. We may decline such requests and explain the reason where appropriate. Contact support if you believe material infringes your rights or if you want a rejected design reviewed.

Design checks and embroidery

Check spelling, layout, size, selected product, colour, variant and quantity before ordering or downloading. Screen colours, garment mockups, stitch previews and before/after comparisons are illustrations; the manufactured result can vary with material and process. Low-resolution artwork may print poorly. Automatic embroidery is intended for simple text and simple artwork; complex images may be rejected. Generated stitch files are drafts requiring competent review, appropriate machine and hoop settings, and a test stitch-out before production. These design checks do not remove your rights concerning faulty or misdescribed goods.

Orders and available tools

Creating or saving a design does not place an order. Add to cart adds the selected Shopify variant and its personalisation details; Buy now opens checkout after adding it. Check the final product and any decoration charge, tax and delivery cost before payment. Store purchase, delivery and cancellation conditions are available in the Store Terms of Service, Refund Policy and Shipping Policy. Any lawful personalised-goods cancellation exception does not remove remedies for faulty or misdescribed goods. Mandatory consumer rights take priority over these terms.

Some tools depend on connected services and may be unavailable. AI output can be inaccurate, non-unique or unsuitable for production; review it before use. Downloads depend on your device, browser and source-image permissions. Keep your own copies. We may change or suspend features for maintenance, security or unlawful use; contact support about unfinished paid orders. Material changes to these terms will require renewed acceptance. English law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory rights or courts available under applicable law.

Printlab privacy notice

This notice supplements our Store Privacy Policy. Ionel Niscoveanu trading as USASTARFASHION, at the address above, is the controller for Printlab processing.

Information, purposes and legal bases

We use your signed Shopify customer identifier, shop identifier, acceptance time, receipt identifier, policy version, policy fingerprint and acknowledgment choices to record the terms governing your use. We use this information to provide the requested service and maintain evidence of its terms, and for our legitimate interests in resolving disputes and preventing misuse. We use designs, text, personalisation settings and order information to carry out your requests and fulfil orders. Legal record-keeping obligations may apply to orders. Optional marketing is separate and is not authorised by accepting Printlab terms.

Acceptance sends a service notification containing the acceptance record to support@usastarfashion.com. That notification does not include your uploaded artwork, your IP address, or your customer email address. Hosting and other providers may separately process technical information, including IP addresses and logs, to operate and secure their services. Your account identifier and acceptance choices are required for entry; if you decline, you cannot enter Printlab, but can continue browsing the store.

Services receiving information

Shopify provides customer accounts, checkout and order storage. Vercel runs the backend, Upstash stores acceptance records and Resend sends acceptance notifications. Google Drive and Apps Script supply library artwork. When you choose connected AI text or image tools, prompts and relevant input are processed through the Vercel backend by OpenAI. These services may process information outside the UK. The international-transfer section of our Store Privacy Policy explains the safeguards applicable to such processing; contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your request. Do not submit confidential or sensitive information to optional AI tools. A locally previewed file is not automatically a public gallery submission.

Saving, retention and deletion

Printlab acceptance records and their support confirmation emails have a 12-month retention period from acceptance; the acceptance database is configured for 365-day expiry. Mailbox deletion is managed separately and is not performed by the database expiry. A specific legal obligation or active dispute may require restricted retention of relevant evidence for longer. Order-related artwork and order records follow the retention criteria in our Store Privacy Policy, including fulfilment, support, legal obligations and dispute resolution.

When you save projects, brand preferences or signatures on your device, they remain in your browser storage until you delete them or clear site data. Downloaded files remain on your device until you remove them. Saved local work is not a secure backup. Remove saved signatures and drafts on shared devices. Provider operational logs and backups follow the relevant service's retention arrangements, subject to our applicable agreements and legal obligations.

Your choices and rights

Contact support@usastarfashion.com to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, or to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Rights depend on the circumstances and applicable law; we may need to verify your identity. You can withdraw optional consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Privacy acknowledgment does not waive these rights. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Printlab artwork screening does not decide legal or similarly significant matters about people; contact support for human review of a rejected design.
