Virtual Try On Privacy and Camera Notice

USASTARFASHION Virtual Try On Privacy Notice — 13 October 2026

Controller: Ionel Niscoveanu trading as USASTARFASHION, 43 Castle Grange, Skelton-in-Cleveland, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, TS12 2DN, United Kingdom. Contact support@usastarfashion.com or +44 7933 733089. This feature notice supplements our Store Privacy Policy and Printlab privacy notice.

Information and purpose. Optional inputs are your selected selfie and fully clothed full-body photograph; selected outfit products and variants; optionally approved personalised LabStudio mockup; generated image and video; account/shop identifiers; consent version, fingerprint and time; and service/job status. We use the photographs to create the appearance preview you request, the selfie as a face reference and the full-body image as a pose/body reference. Account, variant and outfit/design fingerprints isolate your saved results and prevent duplicate generations. The saved virtual gallery stores product identifiers, product thumbnails, look labels, creation time and optional personalisation status alongside the generated result. It does not store the original uploaded selfie, full-body photo or personalised mockup in the saved-preview database. We do not operate a facial-recognition login or biometric-identification database. AI output may be inaccurate. Do not provide unrelated sensitive information.

Choices and lawful bases. Optional photo processing relies on your consent. You can decline without losing normal store browsing or buying. Camera permission is a separate browser choice; granting it is not consent to upload every camera frame, optional cookies or marketing. Create a new Try On only after you approve the selected photos. Moving video requires a separate choice to send the generated preview to fal. We use necessary account/security and minimal allowance records to deliver the requested service, prevent misuse and duplicate charges, and maintain evidence of the terms on the basis of our legitimate interests; order records may also be needed for contract and legal obligations. We do not use your Try On photographs in our advertising without separate permission.

Camera and gallery. Camera activation follows an Open camera click and requests video only, not microphone or location. Live frames remain in the local browser until a still is captured; the capture/timer produces a photograph, not an audio/video recording. Camera tracks stop on review, switching away from capture, closing Try On or hiding the page. Gallery selection makes only the chosen file available to this feature. The selected selfie and body photo remain in page memory while that page is open, unless you remove them. Closing the dialog stops the camera but can retain those prepared photos for reuse during that page session. Our Try On backend does not save the original selfie or body photo to the saved-preview database; it processes and forwards the approved inputs during generation. Providers can retain inputs separately.

Recipients. Shopify provides accounts, products and store-hosted demonstration media. Vercel operates our backend; Upstash stores saved images, video job/access records and consent/allowance records. OpenAI receives approved selfie/body/product images and any specifically approved personalised product mockup for still Try On, including multi-product outfits. fal (Features & Labels Inc.) receives the generated Try On image to run the selected Wan video model only when you approve video creation. They and infrastructure providers may process technical information and security logs. Resend supplies existing Printlab acceptance notifications; the separate Try On consent record does not send your photographs in an acceptance email. Our introductory model is synthetic, pre-generated and hosted by the shop; viewing it does not send your selfie or activate your camera.

Access and links. Saved image retrieval and video job checks require the corresponding signed-in customer account. Video file links are unlisted bearer links: anyone with a copied link may view the file while it remains available. Do not share a link or downloaded preview if you want it kept private. Do not treat saved previews as a secure backup.

Retention. Our saved generated-image cache and video job/access records have a seven-day expiry; rechecking an active video job can renew its record expiry. Original input photographs are not stored in that cache. Separate Try On consent records have a 12-month expiry. Minimal customer/variant and outfit/design usage markers, containing identifiers and fingerprints rather than photographs, remain while needed to enforce the once-per-variant allowance, until a verified erasure request or closure of the service; deleting media does not reset the allowance. Existing Printlab acceptance records and emails follow the Printlab notice, and order-related information follows the Store Privacy Policy. Your own downloads remain on your device until you remove them.

Provider retention differs from our seven-day saved access. OpenAI's published API controls say API content is not used for model training by default, and default abuse-monitoring logs may retain content for up to 30 days, with safety/legal exceptions. We do not claim Zero Data Retention is enabled for this account. fal delivery files, request data, logs and backups follow its policies and applicable agreements; removal from our database does not guarantee their immediate deletion or revoke an already issued media URL. See https://developers.openai.com/api/docs/guides/your-data and https://fal.ai/legal/privacy-policy. Contact us for help with provider-level erasure requests.

International processing. These providers can process information outside the UK, including the United States. The international-transfer section of our Store Privacy Policy applies; contact us for information about safeguards applicable to this feature. Browser permission or a photo-consent click is not a substitute for required provider transfer arrangements.

Withdrawal and deletion. Use My saved virtual looks to delete an individual generated look, or Delete saved previews & withdraw photo consent to withdraw future photo processing and delete our saved image and video/job records for your account. Deleting a look removes our result and video-access record; it does not revoke already issued provider links or reset the generation allowance. A request already sent to an AI provider cannot be undone by withdrawing consent, and provider copies may remain under the arrangements above. Removing local photos does not delete saved server previews. Close the page or use Remove my photos to clear prepared local photos, and revoke camera access in browser settings if desired. Consent withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. You can later give new consent; previously used variants do not automatically receive another generation.

Rights and complaints. Contact support@usastarfashion.com to request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, to object to legitimate-interest processing, or to withdraw consent. We may need to verify your identity and assess lawful retention exceptions; no consent waives your rights. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/. This optional service is for adults aged 18 or over and is not an automated decision about eligibility or other legal/significant outcomes. Version: 2026-10-13-tryon-outfit-2.
